The house rules

Tasted before it is on the shelf

Every bottle on sale has been opened and tasted here first. If we cannot say what is in it, we do not sell it.

Advice at every price

A bottle for a Tuesday dinner deserves as much attention as one for a wedding. Give us a budget, we keep to it.

Set aside on request

Ask by phone or with the form: we put the bottles aside, you pay and collect them at the shop.

Gift-wrapped on the spot

Paper, ribbon or wooden case: tell us it is a gift and it leaves the shop ready to give.

Bring the dish, we find the bottle

Four classics to start with. For anything else, describe the dish at the counter or in the form: we answer with a bottle and the reason why.
